The European summer is over for another year. The days are getting shorter, the temperature is dropping, and yacht trips around the Mediterranean seem like a distant memory. But if you think the party is over – think again.
The creators of The Yacht Week have launched their winter counterpart – The Ski Week.
If you’re looking to book a holiday this winter, stop whatever you’re doing right now, and check out clips of The Ski Week on their website.
If those videos doesn’t get your blood flowing, check yourself into rehab.
The Ski Week launched in 2014 with its first ever event in Obertauern, Austria. The event was exclusive to previous Yacht Week guests, and all 400 spots sold out in less than an hour.
It was a huge success. It’s back this year, bigger than ever and looks absolutely EPIC.
The Ski Week – Europe or Japan?
The Ski Week is a week / long weekend trip that brings an international crowd of 23-35 year-olds together to carve up hand picked mountain resorts in Europe, USA, and Japan. Destinations include Obertauern, Austria, Aspen, USA, Chamonix, France, and more.
It’s a very similar setup to The Yacht Week – but obviously takes place at a ski resort as opposed to on-board a yacht. The organisers create a programme crammed with outdoor activities, apres-ski, dinners and parties at the best venues the resorts have to offer.
They say The Yacht Week is the best week of your life. This could give it a run for its money.
Pricing varies according to the resort you select across Europe or Japan, and whether you choose the week or long weekend option.
For example, a week in Chamonix will cost between Eur 1000-1500. That gets you a hotel with the other ski weekers, a ski pass and wristband which gets you access to all the exclusive TSW events.
You’ll have to pay extra for food, drinks, ski / board hire, flights and a transfer to the resort.
The Ski Week basically takes care of all the hassle that comes with organising a ski trip. Furthermore, in similar fashion to The Yacht Week, they keep the boy / girl ratio at 50/50 to ensure the trip does not result in one big bachelor party.
The Ski Week promises to be a huge week of skiing / boarding and partying with other like-minded individuals from around the world. Get it on your bucket list.
