Barcelona is a truly incredible city that combines culture, beaches, food, drink and nightlife. Visiting such a thriving city, it’s only natural that you may be looking to enjoy a cocktail or cerveza at one of the city’s amazing rooftop bars. With that in mind, here’s a look at four of the best rooftop bars in Barcelona.
The W Barcelona
Situated right on Barcelonata beach, The W Hotel’s rooftop bar is a must for any visitor to Barcelona. With a stunning infinity pool, and amazing views of the Mediterranean sea, this is the perfect bar to elevate your Barcelona experience to the next level. Grab a cocktail, kick back and enjoy the views of the city. While you’re there, also check out the lounge bar inside the hotel, which is very slick and features live DJs, as well as the bar on the 26th floor which offers even more amazing views.
Situated on the rooftop of the Grand Hotel Central, Sky Bar is one of the most popular rooftop bars in Barcelona. Open from April through to October, Sky Bar is reserved for hotel guests during the day, however, at night, the bar is open to the public. The views from Sky Bar are truly spectacular, and for this reason the bar can get busy at night, so arrive early.
The Pulitzer Terrace
Located at the Pulitzer Hotel, and open from early May to late September, the Pulitzer terrace is a great bar to enjoy a few cocktails and mingle with a younger crowd. While the bar doesn’t have the view that other rooftop bars have, it does have a very cool, laid back atmosphere and slightly cheaper prices.
For spectacular 360 degree views of Barcelona, make sure you check out La Isabela, which is located on La Rambla on the roof of Hotel 1898. Take the elevator up to the 7th floor of the hotel, grab a table on the rooftop and enjoy the tapas, the cocktails and the view. La Isabela gets busy on the weekends due to its prime location, so make sure you get there early.
